The return of the once-in-a-lifetime aquatic show “House of Dancing Water” further contributes to the city’s economic diversification.
On the global stage, Melco International continues to seek potential opportunities to enrich its business portfolio and reinforce its leading position in the gaming and entertainment industry. It expects continuous stable growth and sustainable revenues to be generated from City of Dreams Manila in the Philippines.
As the country’s first integrated resort, City of Dreams Sri Lanka opened in Colombo, Sri Lanka in October 2024 in partnership with John Keells Holdings PLC, the largest listed conglomerate on the Colombo Stock Exchange. A wholly-owned local subsidiary of Melco has been awarded a 20-year casino license by the Government of Sri Lanka. Melco has fitted-out and operates the gaming area at City of Dreams Sri Lanka, and managing the top 5 floors of the hotel under its Nüwa brand of ultra high-end luxury rooms, which represents 113 of the 800 total hotel rooms at City of Dreams Sri Lanka.
In Europe, the consortium formed between Melco Resorts & Entertainment and Cyprus Phasouri (Zakaki) Limited operates City of Dreams Mediterranean, an integrated resort in Limassol, in the Republic of Cyprus and licensed satellite casinos in other cities in Cyprus.
